There are 2 primary types of scripts that we use.  They both allow you to easily adjust your position on the furniture.  While the furniture does have all positions adjusted, they are typically not perfect adjustments for everyone and might require some tweaking for your avatar based on your avatar size.

Beds and a few of the couches use a menu based system that is suitable for several avatars and numerous animations called the MLP.  This allows you to easily adjust all of the positions in the bed by selecting...

Options.....Adjust POS....   at this point, the poseballs will change to long stick shapes.  This is to allow you to easily grab ahold of the prims and move them until your avatar is in the appropriate position.  When you are finished adjusting each individual position, push the button that is labeleed....Save POS

When you are finished adjusting all of the positons, follow...... Options....Dump POS..... a long amount of text will be dumped into the chat channel.

Copy all of this text, into the .POSITIONS notecard inside of the furniture so that you are replacing the positions information already in the card with the new positions information that you have just been given.

If you do not Dump POS and paste the information into the .POSITIONS notecad, it will NOT remember the adjusted positions after a reset.

These instructions will help you to ensure that you are getting the perfect adjustment for your needs and your avatar sizes.  With a bit of practice and patience it is a very painless process that only takes a couple of minutes to adjust, and ensures that you do not hae to redo the positions again unles your avatar size changes significantly.
